Lady of I-80...Don’t Look Away!
While walking around they noticed a small brown dog, ambling down the onramp onto I-80. Looking around there were no cars or humans in sight and the nearest town was 50 miles away. These Good Samaritans acted quickly and scooped up this tiny red Dachshund and took her on into Rock Springs.

Chamber of Horrors
I was horrified to recently discover that Green River along with two other cities in Wyoming still use a gas chamber to kill unwanted animals.

Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary
Visit the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary at Double D Ranch in Lander, Wyoming. You can tour their property and see over 250 wild horses. Most come from round ups in Herd Management Areas (HMAs) in Wyoming, California, Nevada, and Utah managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

PAWS of Jackson Hole Hits Fundraising Goal of $200,000

Jackson Hole Poop Fairies
PAWS of JH has estimated around 8,000 dogs in Teton Co. add almost three tons of dog poop per day to our environment.
PAWS’s volunteer Poop Fairy program provides consistent clean-up, public outreach and education to the community.

Inmates and Cats–Working Hand in Paw
The Laramie County Sheriff’s Department has partnered with Black Dog Animal Rescue to match cats in need with inmates vetted and deemed responsible enough to care for these cats.
