PAWS of Jackson Hole Hits Fundraising Goal of $200,000

For the 2nd year in a row, PAWS has had to responsibly cancel their in-person Tuxes and Tails Gala due to covid concerns. Pivoting quickly, they hired local actor, writer, comedian Andrew Munz to create a series of pet-focused, comedic videos (links below) that were shared throughout the 4-week campaign (May 7-June 4). The success of the campaign was great news as fundraising totals were dropping in Spring 2021.
“Donor fatigue is real. We found it very challenging to raise funds this May and secure our fundraising goal”, said PAWS Development Director David Watson. “Fortunately, Andrew Munz’s Comedy Videos captured people’s attention, we have amazing donor support throughout the pet community, and none of us at PAWS are afraid to pick up the phone and reach out directly to our donors. Ultimately, PAWS was able to achieve it’s $200,000 Comedy Campaign goal.
For 2022, PAWS says the Gala must go on! The next in-person Tuxes & Tails Gala in Jackson Hole will take place on June 30, 2022. This event is usually sold out with around 300 people attending. Mark your calendars today so you don’t miss out!
